About Me.

Hi, I’m Mia Evon, a dance, aerial, and performance coach dedicated to helping performers strengthen both their mindset and movement so they can reach their full potential.

My journey began in the dance studio, where I discovered not only a love for movement but also the mental challenges that come with performing. Over the years I learned that true progress in the performing arts is about more than skill or flexibility. It requires confidence, focus, and mental resilience.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Seton Hall University, where I studied behavior, emotions, and motivation. I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Sport and Exercise Psychology, continuing to expand my understanding of how mindset influences performance. I also hold certifications in yoga, mindfulness, and rational emotive behavior therapy, which all shape my holistic approach to coaching.

In addition to my academic background, I am an active performer and competitor. I earned a national title in aerial silks in 2024, placing in the top 10 at the World Championships in Athens, Greece, and in the summer of 2025, I won second place in aerial hoop. These experiences keep me deeply connected to the performer’s mindset and the realities of training, performing, and competing.

I currently teach beginner and intermediate/advanced aerial silks and an aerial kids class at Pole to Pole Fitness in Woodbridge, New Jersey, as well as acro, tap, ballet, and jazz at Peak Performing Arts Center in Ridgefield, New Jersey. To sign up for classes or private lessons, please visit the studios’ websites directly. I love helping students of all ages develop confidence, creativity, and a strong connection to their movement.

Through Mia Evon Performance, I combine my background in psychology with my passion for movement to help dancers and aerialists develop confidence, resilience, and a deeper connection to their artistry. My mission is to help performers train smarter, perform with joy, and trust in what they are capable of both on and off the stage.
